THE COTTON PRESS
Located in the heart of Little Mountain, The Cotton Press is just minutes from Newberry and Columbia. Beautifully exposed brick, vintage hardwood floors and original heart pine timbers will provide the perfect backdrop for your event. The five thousand square foot structure with outdoor patio and garden allows many options to personalize your event. With a touch of history and elegance, this venue will make any celebration a memorable experience for guests and host alike.
We offer the entire facility for your special day. Weddings booked with us have access to all areas as well as tables and chairs for up to 200 guests. The Bride has an upstairs large suite with a makeup bar and private bath for you and your bridesmaids to prepare for the day. The Groom has an area to dress and relax before the wedding a top the spiral staircase in the lower building. Both areas have wireless internet as well as wireless speakers to play your own music.

Hi friends. I'm Pastor John Peters, an ordained & licensed Wedding Officiant Charleston, South Carolina. In the past few years, I have officiated over 600 weddings of all sizes, with couples of all ages, in every type venue imaginable. I am flexible & creative while working with couples in the planning & implementation of their wedding ceremonies. There is no greater joy than sharing in that special day & making it exactly what the couple has envisioned. I keep a diary of every wedding I do & would love to write a book about weddings one day.
I have officiated weddings of all sizes in various locations: beach, state capitol, on sailboats, in bowling alleys, in historical sites, & the list goes on & on. I have also provided vow renewal services. I love seeing the happiness & joy that surrounds a wedding day & would be honored to share these special moments with you & your loved ones.
